Gender Reveal Day!! (for real this time)

Well, friends, the day has come.  Time to fill you in on the truth.  Thanks for participating in our little poll--it was great to see a bit of activity from our dear readers (that's you).  So, here we go... Baby P is going to be.....

A GIRL!!!

You were right.  I should've known to trust you guys all along.

So basically, I'm terrified of bows, ribbons, ruffles, and most of all....cheerleading.  So, if anyone has good tips for how to raise a baby girl that likes none of those things, I'm open to suggestions.  Just jokes...but not really.

And finally, I will share ONE (and only one) photo of my bump.  This is the only photo the interwebz will EVER see, so you should feel special.  The photo was taken right at the 20 week point (5 months).  Halfway there!

Not really sure why I look so scared.
There you have it.  The wait is over.  I'm on a baby post hiatus for a while--you can rest easy.  Next up, extreme home makeovers.  Be prepared!

  1. Congrats! I hate bows and ruffles and cheerleading, and my mom put in me in all of those when I was little, so maybe the best policy is to force it on her so much that she hates it.
    That sounds horrible, doesn't it?

  2. Congrats to you and Frank! Call/text me for any and all ideas on how to avoid these baby girl things! I detest them. Izzy is 15 months and I already have her trained to remove any and all hair bows and throw them as far as she can! :-)

  3. Dominique,

It sounds a TINY bit horrible, but hey, whatever works! I'm keeping an open mind here. ;) Thanks for the great comment!
