Wednesday Music Must-Haves

I have failed you, dear readers.  You have missed out on A LOT of new music, and it's all my fault.  That changes today, so be ready.

Meet Beach House.  I learned about this band about five years ago, and I've loved their music since. This band provides super chill tunes that are perfect for laying by the pool.  These tunes are entertaining without being distracting. Check out my fave song from the album below.

I know that "We Are Young" is totally overplayed on all pop stations everywhere, but the new Fun. album is actually quite good.  The album is called "Some Nights" which just so happens to be my fave track.  You can hear it below.  From track one, the lead singer steals your heart with a voice that reminds me very much of Freddie Mercury.  Well, if Freddy Mercury could somehow mesh with Kanye West and a little bit o' Broadway.  See, now you're intrigued.  Get the album and check out my fave track below.

The best album of the Spring/Summer comes from Of Monsters and Men.  The band members hail from Iceland and have crazy names like Ragner Porhallsson, but all of their music is dubbed in English.  I think.  Actually, I have no idea what they are saying the majority of the time, but I'm in LOVE with the album.  Lots of tunes from them below.  You NEED to purchase this album.  Yesterday.
